Central Coast Health Promotion Service is working with the local community to reduce the rate of smoking and the significant health issues that it leads to. Smoking rates are higher in socioeconomically disadvantaged communities, to address this health inequity, we are investigating working with Central Coast financial counsellors to address smoking cessation with their clients, with a view to providing training and resources to embed smoking cessation support in practice.
